Flag
In red. Cordons and tassels in silver and red. Golden flag-staff and spear.
The field of arms is silvery, metal showing humbleness and wealth.
The metal cross and the towers are enamel red which in heraldry means victories, wars, strength, life and joy.
The towers are open and illuminated with enamel blue meaning charity and loyalty.
As the main pieces of the arms are red, the flag is also red. The mural crown of four towers is determined to symbolize the towns.
And this way, with these pieces and enamels the local history and its inhabitants’ qualities are emphasized.
This legal opinion was approved by the ordinance nr.8374 of February, 1936, By the Interior Ministry and since then the Town Council began to use the present Coat of Arms of the Municipality.
